Installed a set of these on my 2000 Silverado. Heard a metal noise a week later going down a back road, and got out to see what made the noise or what I ran over. I then discovered the backing plate that seals the bearing from the elements had come off, which was the bouncing metal noise I heard. I had to replace a week old hub, but at least the other on is still going.
