I just replaced both front hubs on my Land Rover LR3 with 107K miles. Apparently this is a common problem at about 100K. I thought about buying less expensive hubs- there are some on Amazon for half the price. In the end, I decided it was worth paying more for Timken quality. The fit was perfect. Some reviews say this is the OEM supplier, but they were not identical to the ones I took out, so I am not sure. Time will tell, but for now I am happy with them. They were not labeled “Timken”, or anything else.Update: three years and 45,000 miles later and everything is still perfect.Update: six years and 80,000 miles later (from install) and everything is still perfect.Update: Jan 2023, 115,000 miles later (from install- total miles 224,000 miles) and everything is still perfect. They have officially outlasted the original bearings. However, nowhere on the boxes, or the bearings was there anything indicating the manufacturer. “Timken” was nowhere to be seen. I think they are probably not actually Timken bearings, because I have seen bearings labeled “Timken”. I am happy with the performance. At the time they were the most expensive on Amazon, but much cheaper than any real Rover parts supplier.
