This part arrived sooner than expected and was exactly as described in the online specs. I had it professionally installed and really glad I didn't attempt the repair based on what the tech had to go through. I reside in the northeast. The salt used to clear the roads in winter creates a concrete like crust between the shaft and the bearing making it impossible to remove without the right tools and determination. Still I saved 50% on the OEM part (bearing cost over 300.00 at Cadillac dealer plus installation) so I came out way on top instead of taking it to the dealer for repair. The new bearing works like it should. Great savings and great customer service is why I have been an Amazon customer for several years.
