This part replaced an original worn part on a 2005 Ford Explorer. It fit perfectly and has had no issues for the past 4 months since installment.The part came with directions though they were not used because the person installing knew what he was doing. So I cannot comment on the ease of installment from that perspective. But if looking for extra installation help, don't forget about youtube. There is a great tutorial(s) on there with this part specifically for many vehicle types (I looked it up just in case it was needed).Part was shipped fast (2 days) and packaged adequately. Can't ask for much more than what I got! I will update when/if this part is again replaced so that an approximate timeline/use is here. Right now, the vehicle this is on travels 80-90 miles/d (5 d/wk) for work (mostly highway) and there has not been an issue in the ~4 months since installment.
